CONNECT WITH DANIELLE
I’m a wife and momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joes are my love language. I'm a wanna be cooking show host. You can probably find me watching Bravo TV with an iced coffee in hand. I'm a big fan of brunch with the girls and ice cream dates with my guys. I love encouraging others with words and have a heart for serving.

We live in a college town and Football is a big time of the year for us! Not to mention my husband REALLY loves football. I married into it and I’ve accepted it. Even thought I really know nothing about football and just really like the snacks. One time I watched ESPN to hear more news and maybe surprise my husband with some new knowledge. After a few hours I realized ESPN is on a loop, so it continually plays. I didn’t learn much and was annoyed that I wanted the same thing over and over, I digress….
Comfort is king when watching games, in my opinion. Skip the fancy shoes and go for a good old fashioned pair of Converse and a worn-in collegiate tee. I also added on a cross body bag to this look so you’re hands-free while carrying snacks or playing cornhole.
Fall and football go hand in hand. So when the cooler temperatures come along, keep it simple and don’t stress. Go for easy denim, a cozy sweater and yes, break out that coveted blanket scarf! My head/ears always freeze so a beenie is essential for my look too.
It’s unavoidable, no matter where you live, the rain will ruin your game day fun. But, it won’t ruin your outfit if you’re prepared! Go for practical rain boots but keep it cute by pairing a game day tee with a lightweight trench coat. And you know I had to throw on a hat to really tie the look together.
Also, a lot of stadiums have rules on what kinds of purses/bags you’re allowed to bring inside. Meaning that clear bags are in high demand. Invest in one that can hold all of your belongings and is still compliant with their sizing rules.
Now I realize that not everyone is a Fresno State, Alabama or Niner Fan. (That is a lot of red!) Your color palette might be a bit different, and that’s ok! This post is meant to serve as inspiration for you to create your own game day looks this football season. Do you have a favorite look? Let me know in the comments below!
