CONNECT WITH DANIELLE
I’m a wife and momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joes are my love language. I’m passionate about joyful marriages, encouraging words and chasing your dreams. The only thing I love more than photographing weddings is education and encouraging creative entrepreneurs! I nerd out about marketing, personality types, and making digital images look like film! I run off joy, grace and a lot of coffee! If you only remember one thing from me, I want it to be this: you are so loved! Learn More

Brand photography is a crucial step in the branding process, as it acts as the “visual glue” after your logo and website designs have been created. Your photography must be in tune with the essence of your overall brand in order for your business to keep a reliable theme. For example, if your brand is fun and playful, you might want to consider sticking to a colorful or whimsical photography style. In contrast, if your brand is modern and elegant, you should keep to neutral tones and simple imagery.
I planned my session with quite a few things in mind…
Location, wardrobe and the story.
I wanted to be sure the location was on brand. Because I’m a light and airy photographer I wouldn’t want my branding photography done in a dark room with no light. I wanted to make sure the decor flowed well with my branding colors and the furniture felt inviting and cozy. After a few searches for the perfect location I decided my home would be best! If you know me, you know my brand flows well with my life. The colors, the feeling, the whole experience is very “me” which is why my in home office was the perfect place for my session with Megan! When I considered my clothing I knew I wanted to wear comfortable clothing that reflected my brand. Knowing that my brand flows very easy with my own life I was able to look at my closet and pulled a few pieces out that worked perfectly and then I ran to Anthropologie for this new sweater! It was the perfect touch to my cozy outfit! Which brings me to the last part that I thought about while planning my photography session. Story. I wanted to be sure I had a way to share my story in more than headshots. I wanted a way to capture the feelings, and the experience I share as your photographer. I used a desk set up, a couch set up and a comfy chair set up. Because, the reality is when I’m not capturing your photos, I’m in my home office editing!
