A NEW TAKE ON A SUMMER SALAD
Summer isn’t always the easiest to bake with the extra heat! I’m a fan when I cam whip up a meal and I don’t have to turn on my oven! I love a good caprese salad and this new take on my favorite Summer salad is sure to be a big hit at your next gathering! The Summer Peach Caprese Appetizer with California Walnuts is also a super easy recipe to whip up!

Below you’ll find the recipe that may or may not change your life for the better. A few things to note; you absolutely can make this appetizer ahead of time, but the key is adding the candied walnuts, olive oil and balsamic glaze when you’re ready to serve! Enjoy friends!
2 bunches of fresh basil
2-3 large yellow peaches
1 pound fresh mozzarella
3/4 to 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 bag of California Walnuts
1/4 cup Balsamic glaze
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Start by layering your peach slices, mozzarella slices and a piece of basil. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a heavy drizzle of balsamic glaze. Top with sea salt and Candies Walnuts or Raw Walnuts and serve!
