Phonics Books Set to encourage and develop reading! Hudson has a monthly reading log for school, so we read daily with him for practice and learning. We were on the hunt and wanted to find books that set him up to actually read with us, not just be read too. We love these phonics books because they are set up for kiddos to learn to read with them. I was hesitant to get the set, but everyone RAVED about them and I had to see for myself!

I had never seen books set up like this its so creative and helpful! So, What makes them different? The books focus on shared reading! The left pages are the words the parent reads and the left page is set up specifically for the child to read. Shared reading provides great support and motivation for beginner readers. Makes it much more engaging and Hudson loves to point out sight words he has learned in school. There are also puzzles at the end of each book for little ones to test their understanding of the story and provide further practice! The stories are fun and playful and kiddos love them! Hudsons current favorite is Moon Zoom!
