CONNECT WITH DANIELLE
I’m a wife and momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joes are my love language. I’m passionate about joyful marriages, encouraging words and chasing your dreams. The only thing I love more than photographing weddings is education and encouraging creative entrepreneurs! I nerd out about marketing, personality types, and making digital images look like film! I run off joy, grace and a lot of coffee! If you only remember one thing from me, I want it to be this: you are so loved! Learn More

WHICH BAGS DO I USE?
Lyra Leather Backpack I am that photographer who jam packs her bag and therefore I’ve destroyed quite a few of them. The leather Lyra by Kamrette is the first camera bag that hasn’t surrendered to my abuse. The quality is top notch and after a year of constant use, this baby still looks brand new! I also LOVE how many easy-to-access pockets live all around the exterior – perfect to hold my memory cards, cell phone and notes for the day!
Lowepro Pro Roller x200 AW Digital SLR Camera Bag/Backpack Case Although I can fit a whole lot of equipment into my leather Lyra Backpack, there are still a few items that need a place to live. I don’t know why it took me so long to discover this rolling case, but it is a real game changer! My shoulders and back appreciate this investment like woah. This quiet rolling bag allows for mobile and safe storing of all my heaviest equipment!
WHAT’S MY FAVORITE CAMERA BODY?
Canon 5D Mark iii I adore the full-frame Canon 5D Mark iii for my primary camera bodies and I have been thrilled with the overall performance of this professional wizard. I don’t know what I love more – its impressive shooting speed, flexible 61-point AF, or the fact that I don’t have to go into complete panic when pushing up ISO from time to time. This is my go to body, and I have a feeling it will be for quite some time!
WHAT LENSES DO I LOVE?
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens Sometimes it can be challenging to capture the beautiful, small detail that fills a wedding day. My macro lens allows me to get real close without sacrificing clarity or focus. Some common uses included photographing engagement rings, patterns or bling on a gown, and the unique detail found on stationery!
Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 Lens I have really started to love experimenting with the 85mm during both cocktail hour and the reception. For cocktail hour, I love to stand at a distance and capture candidates taking place while guests are enjoying each other’s company. As for reception, I find the 35mm to amazing for documenting really emotional moments within the bride and groom’s first dance, as well as all the emotion expressed throughout the room during special toasts. Very often I will convert some of these images to black and white to further express that intimate vibe.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L Lens My main squeeze. The 50mm continues to be my absolute favorite lens for portrait photography. This prime pal stole my heart from day one. Its sharpness, depth of field, and flexibility in low light make it ideal for photographing portraits. Its also a real champ when I need to grab detail shots of wedding decor!
