CONNECT WITH DANIELLE
I’m a wife and momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joes are my love language. I'm a wanna be cooking show host. You can probably find me watching Bravo TV with an iced coffee in hand. I'm a big fan of brunch with the girls and ice cream dates with my guys. I love encouraging others with words and have a heart for serving.

Confession: I never post in real time. I plan my posts out to achieve the cohesive look I want. I have e a family and a little boy who loves my attention. The reality is I can’t be in IG all day. So scheduling my posts frees up my brain to not have to come up with a caption every morning that I post. So Planoly with remind me when to post my scheduled out post and will now even post on my behalf (I’ll write another blog about the pros & cons of this feature another day) so I don’t ever have to open the app and stare at that linking curser thinking up some magical caption.
This is a funny one but I use notes to store my hashtags. Yes, another way I plan for my scheduled posts (are you seeing a theme here;) ) I have hash tags lists for all sorting s of categories and I’ll just copy + paste them right on over to my post. I don’t usually add hashtags right away and I’ve actually seen a better response when I add hashtags later in the day. (More on this in another post!) I continue to update my hashtags with relevant and trending hashtags so I’m not constantly using the same ones!
Ever wonder how I get those pretty fonts?! It’s with this amazing app! You can come up with a variety of awesome announcements or pretty whites with this app!
When to Post:
With the pesky algorithm always changing this app tells you the most ideal times of day for you to post. I would always encourage you that no matter when you post, only post when you can spend a little time on the ‘gram engaging with others! Remember the algorithm likes when your posts have likes & comments and engaging with others is a great way to gain more attention on your posts
Editing on my iPhone. While rarely use iPhone shots to edit there are times I do! And the app I use is VSCO I usually add brightness and contrast!
If I could leave you with any sort of advice it’s to not take IG too seriously. Life does happen outside of the app and as you see I try to plan and prepare as much as I can so I’m not on the ‘gram all day. You can have an engaged tribe of followers and. It have to be on the app 24/7! I actually take weekends off from IG. I may hop in from time to time but I decided that bwhen my family is home I won’t add the pressure of being on IG.
Do you have any IG questions for me? Leave them below in the comments! I’d love to answer them. Maybe I’ll even right a blog post about your Q’s!
