Tantrums, meltdowns, anxiety, fear, sadness, tears BIG emotions…

Okay, these are feelings that we see in our house, from all of us! I don’t know about you but I want ALL the books that I can get my hands on discussing FEELINGS, especially when they teach positive behavior and offer coping skills for our family.

Take a look at these powerful books to help guide children with their feelings. These books are perfect to read with your little one’s and offer guidance to navigate feelings! You might even learn some skills for yourself, I know I have when reading these with our son.

Red, Red, Red – A gentle book about dealing with emotions and calming toddler tantrums (and the grownup helping guiding them through!) The perfect picture book for handling bad days and bad moods. Great for 3 years & older.

First-Time Feelings Complete Collection – These colorful, child-friendly, sturdy-paged picture books embrace uniqueness and positivity. The collection includes:

  • Cautious Chameleon – Cautious Chameleon didn’t want to stand out, but being the same doesn’t always feel right.
