CONNECT WITH DANIELLE
I’m a wife and momma on the daily and bouquets of flowers from Trader Joes are my love language. I'm a wanna be cooking show host. You can probably find me watching Bravo TV with an iced coffee in hand. I'm a big fan of brunch with the girls and ice cream dates with my guys. I love encouraging others with words and have a heart for serving.

Y’all. Stop what you’re doing right now. Whether you’re at your 9-5, in line at carpool pick up, on a break…whatever. Stop and buy this long cardigan. By far the best $20 I’ve spent in a long time! Right now, as we (pretend) Fall is here, I’m all about lightweight and easy layers, and this sweater does just that. So if you’re not sure how to style a long cardigan for Fall, we’re gonna talk all about that today. So let’s get started, shall we?
Long cardigans can seem a bit daunting for those of us on the shorter side. You love the look, but don’t want to be taken over by your sweater.
That’s why I love this specific cardigan so much. It has an oversized feeling but doesn’t overwhelm my 5’2 frame. It also hits right at my knee. Anything longer would seem off in regards to the balance of this entire outfit. And speaking of balance, if I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, you’ve got to define that waist! The waist definition creates the illusion of longer legs and makes the longer hemline of the sweater balance with the rest of the look.
The perfect layering piece as we head into (hopefully) cooler temps! It’s soft and cozy and the variety of colors this cardigan comes in makes it a bit difficult to pick up just one! I picked the camel color as it’s neutral and I can pair it with more outfits! Was this a helpful post? I love sharing tips & tricks for petite style!
