Let’s face it after the year+ we all have had we could all use a little help looking a bit more refreshed, am I right? I’m currently navigating life with a sweet newborn and our little boy who is out of school for the Summer. It’s been a pretty seamless adjustment and when I say my heart is full I truly mean it. Every day has its own adventures and caring for our little ones is so much fun! But, by the end of the day I’m TIRED. Have a few tricks up my sleeve to care for myself even with our full schedules has been a PRIORITY for me. So, how do I accomplish this? Let me share what works for me….

- Hydrate always. If you know me, you know I’m the worst at water intake. I’m stubborn and just don’t like the taste of water. Annoying, I know. BUT, I know that i’m my best self when I’m hydrated and not sluggish. Plus, i’ve got to set a good example for the tiny humans. I got myself a cute little thermos and try to continue to refill it throughout the day. I need all the hydrating running after 2 kiddos.
- Start each morning with a shower. This was a non-negotiable for me. I know it can seem tempting to try to sneak in a shower during the day during nap time, or quiet time etc. But for me, I have to get my shower in before my Husband leaves for work. I know I’ll have that un-interrupted time to care for myself and starting the day feeling fresh sets my day up for success. It’s the little things that really help make me feel refreshed.
- Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream. My absolute favorite eye cream to give my tired eyes a little pep! Formulated for the delicate eye area, this cream awakens eyes with hydrating squalane. Helps to boost oxygenation and while reducing the appearance of shadows and puffiness. — After a long night of feeding my newborn this is EXACTLY what I need to help me look awake and refreshed! I love that it gently exfoliates to aid in skin cell turnover, which helps skin breathe for a natural glow. A must have!
